Factory reset on iOS 10 beta safe?

Can you just do a factory reset on the phone when you have iOS 10 beta installed? Or do you have to revert back to whatever official iOS 9 is first?

As a hazard-proof, I would like to revert back to previous version of iOS before factory reset.

I did a factory reset on my iPhone 6 when I installed iOS 10 it didn't do anything. I just had to re download the profile

I dunno about a factory reset, but resetting all settings is okay on my SE. it actually added News and apple pay for me!

I just did it because of many problems directly on the phone and set it up as new. Worked without any issue.
