Does anyone know where the factory installed ringtones on iPhone can be found within OS X Leopard?

I searched and spotlight does not show them.

I don't think they are anywhere in there... the copy you'd have of them on your HD would be inside the IPSW firmware file for the iPhone. They're loaded on as part of the firmware flash and not manually sync'ed by iTunes to your phone when you sync, like purchased or created ringtones are.

The only way you could locate them in OS X, is to either look in the .IPSW file like mkrishnan said, or if you have a jailbroken iPhone, you could access them via SSH.

I know that "Alarm" is a GarageBand file as well.
Also, the "New Mail" is used in Mail.app on Macs
Also, the "Tri-Tone" for text messages, would be when the installation wizard is finished installing, when iTunes is finished an operation, etc on OS X.
The "SMS" sounds are just iChat sounds.

So yeah, you can find these around in Leopard, I just do not know where.
