Factory unlocked and third party apps

Let say I get a factory unlocked iphone 3gs from a place like ltaly or Hong Kong. Is it possible to install third party apps into the factory unlocked iphone??

You mean from the App Store? Yes, there's no difference in the phones that are unlocked.

If you mean apps from Cydia and Icy, then yes you can do that too, but you have to jailbreak the phone first, which is easy.
