I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G, and I would like to save all of the app settings, text messages, and other data from this phone. I am buying a factory unlocked iPhone 3GS from Australia. When I get this phone, is there any problem in restoring from my current backup?
I am worried that some settings or data from the jailbroken phone's backup might creep in and cause problems on the iPhone 3GS. Since that phone doesn't need to be unlocked, I probably won't jailbreak it either. Many people are presently having battery issues that may or may not be related to jailbreaking, and I want to avoid these.
