Fading individual tracks in GarageBand

Hi I am starting a podcast and have the intro music picked out and everything

what i would like to do is Fado out the intro music as I begin to talk. (insteadof it just stopping abruptly)

I have tried to use the Help but i cannot figure out how to do this.

look in help for 'volume curves'.

Click the arrow under the track name, to the right of the lock icon (shown here as the Volume Pan Button).

The blue line that appears shows the volume level, and you can click it to make new points and drag the circles around. This will manipulate how loud or quiet the track is - so, you'd need to click where you want the fading to begin, then click again and drag the second point to the bottom to make it fade out.
