i just have a few questions about the matter. with iOS 8 betas just around the corner, i will be getting an apple dev account. if I'm running an iOS beta with a dev account, is that all i need to do this? i mean i know i can't just instal cydia right off the bat, but i would like to start developing jailbreaks, or at least learning more about how the kernel works and such. yeah i know this sounds kinda dumb, but i figure i might as well ask...

Once you register your UDID to your dev account, you're set.

It's simple! Just find a way to go from mobile to root in the kernel solely through iTunes Sync, and then find a way to defeat ASLR and you have got yourself a shiny new failbreak.
