failed macbook efi firmware 1.0 update?

My macbook fails to install the EFI Firmware update 1.0. It shuts off perfectly then when I press the On button, Apple sign with the update bar flashes for a second and then Macbook completely restarts. Then I just get the update screen to restart the computer.

Any HELP???
