Failed to Fetch http://apt.modmyi.com/dists/... Can't Upgrade Cydia?

Just like the title says, when i try to upgrade Cydia, it gives me a huge error failed to fetch http://apt.modmyi.com/dists/stable/main/binary-iphoneos-arm/packages hash sum mismatch. Has anyone gotten this error and successfully fixed itl

If the ModMyI repo is down because it is saying "Failed to fetch.." is it just a waiting game for it to come back up?

With the blackra1n coming out last sunday cydia and it's repos got hit hard over the weekend I think it's had a hard time because of that. Eventually it should come back. I have no errors getting it to come up.

Alright, I used PwnageTool 3.1.4 yesterday lol to jailbreak my 3.1.2 so maybe there will be a fix in the near future. It's just weird that some people are getting the error and others arent i dont understand how that works.

These errors are caused by repository servers being down. There's nothing to fix. You just have to wait.

has anyone had trouble restarting their phone after updating cydia? i re-jailbroke my phone on fri and after installing updates for cydia, it said the 'system' needed to restart. now whenever i turn on my phone it boots for about 20 seconds then quits and shuts down. have i bricked my phone or is there anything else i can do?

Sounds like you have the new 3GS with the new bootrom. You should read some of the threads and posts here about what a tethered jailbreak is.

i did and i thought i had it squared away, but oh well. restored in dfu mode, everythings working now.
