Well, basically I'm trying to install XP with camp and it failed to partition my hard drive because my disc has errors and i need to repair it with disk utility. I'm going to do that tomorrow which involves booting from the OS X install disk. Should I be worried when i do that? I don't really have my stuff backed up.

I had the same message. I didn't use Disk Utility though, it was easier for me
to restart my iMac in single-user mode (holding Cmd-S at startup) and repair
the hard drive by typing:
fsck -fy
It found some errors, repaired them and then Boot Camp Assistant was able
to partition the disk.
BTW. after repairing your disk that way you have to type reboot to restart your Mac.
