Fake Apple Smart battery case?

I want to buy a smart battery case as a gift for someone in my family however don’t want to pay £129 and was wondering if buying one on eBay would be safe, I have found one which is sealed brand new but worried it could be fake, does anyone know if there are fake battery cases on the market, is this likely to be a fake from eBay, it’s £80

Haven’t seen any fake ones yet. Most of the ones on eBay are legit from what I can see.
