Very, very unlikely. Most Apple counterfeits are noticeably inferior.

My point was how do we know these are counterfeits any not gray market?

I only buy my silicone iPhone cases from China

The quality has been the same as ones from the Apple Store and I've actually been able to get some models and colors that Apple never even offered.

If the Apple pricing was even remotely close to "sane" I'd consider buying from them, but the markup has become insane.

Completely agree.

Apple's accessories are so ridiculously overpriced and often aren't as good as the non-Apple or even counterfeit accessories being sold.
