Who cares what it is called?? Does it have two speakers, or fake speaker holes and an mic?? That's going to be the determining factor for me on upgrading from an 6S, or not...

No haven't you heard? It's "the future" to leave out box fronts. Leaving out things to which we consumers are accustomed shall- from this date forward- be spun as "the future" IF we believe it's something Apple is going to do. When fellow consumers complain, we'll rip into them for being "stuck in the past." In this case, that "past" is boxes having front sides. Fully enclosed boxes is so antiquated. ;)

"We made the box so thin that it's not there."

Fake??? I think this is the real deal... Apple is not going to name their 10 year aniversary iPhone the iPhone 7S or the iPhone 8 for that matter.. This is the real deal.. Like it or not. This is it..

Even though this is fake, from the leaks we've seen for design this should be a 6 SE and 6+ SE. If Apple is doing a big upgrade for the 10 year anniversary next year, that phone should be iPhone 7. That's just my opinion.

It would be odd.
They already sell an iPhone 5SE, so there would be some confusion, and it would be bad for marketing as it would stress the fact that it is a minor upgrade.
I believe they'll name it iPhone 7 and if next year they'll change design maybe they'll skip the S version and name it iPhone 8.

When I first glanced at the headline, I didn't notice the 6 and thought it was an article about a possible update to the iPhone SE. I got excited for a second given that's most likely what I'll be switching to in a couple months.

I know its a fake, but if the leaks are true that show it looking just like an iPhone 6/6S then iPhone 6 SE would have been a good name, but since they did not call the iPhone SE, iPhone 5 SE it would just not work and would be confusing naming wise to have iPhone SE and iPhone 6 SE. (iPhone 5 SE and iPhone 6 SE would work).

then again, Apple have messed up with product names before, new iPad instead of iPad 3 anyone?

iPhone SE 6? Try saying it fast . . .

More important question is whether there will be an SE version (i.e., smaller size) of the iPhone 7 coming

iPhone X sounds way better

They may even change the name and introduce a suffix.
iPad now has Mini, Air and Pro models, they could name iPhone mini the 4'' model, iPhone Air the 4.7'' and iPhone pro the 5.5'' for example.

You all serious? Just look at the complete hack job on rear label typography. You don't need to adjust values in Photoshop to see that this is like, the worst fake ever. -_-

This is probably just Samsung trolling Apple right before the release :D Although if it is, based on the videos I've seen floating around, maybe Sammy should work on their hardware/software optimization :p

Well you know what they say about lipstick on a pig.
Sure, what's inside matters.
But dress it up all you want with and market the hell out of it, the perception will be that this is still an iPhone 6.

Whoever puts these packaging leaks out, tries way to hard and falls short by a long shot. I always get a laugh in when I see these. Invites are up next.

From what little information I've gathered internally, there's a good chance we'll be dropping the numerical system/marketing for the iPhone line as it's the only line still marketed with numerical model versions. If iPhone and iPhone Plus aren't used this cycle, I'm pretty certain next years 10th anniversary line will be as follows:

- iPhone 4"
- iPhone 4.7"
- iPhone 5.5"

"Plus" may be dropped from the 5.5" version. The 4" SE model released this year was a test of sorts to determine whether a 4" size would sell given the demand. It surpassed everyone's expectations, plan on a 4" size as part of next years redesigned iPhone line.
