i dont use a screen protector but judging by its design, really well. The full front is exposed, and a lip off to the side instead of curling over, where it might put pressure on a protector.

I can't justify spending another $50 on a case that last me 4 months. I had the original on my 5 but it started cracking and would constantly slip of the phone when pulling the phone out of my front pocket. So for now...only a back skin.

Kind of a serious bummer this doesn't fit the apple 30 pin to lighting 0.2m cable I use in my car
I guess I'm back to the diztronic, even with two other colors on the way
I might end up selling this black one (opened but still have packaging), and the silver and red when they come in if anyone for these reasons, if anyone might be interested for $10/shipped each. If not, not the end of the world either. And I'd prefer to ship em all out at once so it's less of a hassle.

I have a black flat bumper on the way. Should be here soon, if anyone wants it PM me. I have no use for it as I'm using Apple's leather case now
I wanted to try out the "slate" flat bumper on my space gray 5S..it looks ok. Definitely looked better with the slate iPhone 5 as the space gray you can see the silver chamfered edges between the bumper and phone. Just FYI...
Edit: excuse my cheap screen protector. Waiting on SGP to arrive..and I still have part of the back plastic on the back.

for people who use monoprice cables, or 30 pin adapters, how are you dealing with this bumper?
Just take it off every time you use the phone in the car? And ditch the monoprice cable for its style?

Damn ... If I would of read this I wouldn't have ordered . This a big deal to me because I have a nice sound system in my car and all my tunes in my phone ! #
Looking at the opening for the lightning port on the bumper, it looks like there are some excess plastic that can be dremel out to fit the larger chargers.
It actually does fit the 30-pin to 0.2m, but only one of the two sides I think. And requires a bit of force, same with the monoprice.
But I've made it work. And I'm excited for my two additional bumpers to arrive.

I sent them pictures as proof that they sent the wrong item (front and back of package, with their product number). They acknowledged the error, then asked me to just accept it because it doesn't affect functionality.
Oh, and said they will be more careful next time. As if there is a next time. *roll eyes*

For how cheap they sell these for, I don't see them taking a return. Sure they dropped the ball, but the cost to send it back doesn't make sense for you and them. Chalk it up to a lesson learned or try again and if they get it right, you're still getting a great deal. Sometimes we have to look at the positives instead of focusing on the negatives in life.
do they ever come with a back cover ? or do they have anything similar to this but with a back cover ?
