I just found out that my old vapor 4 case has no negative effect on signal or gps function on my new iPhone 4S!

I may consider buying a new vapor 4 now, as I always thought they were more attractive than the Pro

That's great news! I ordered a vapor 4 in white since I think it looks cleaner, slimmer and I like the all aluminum case. I felt the vapor pro was a little bulky. But yeah I was gonna get back to this thread once I received the vapor 4 and tried it out. It's nice knowing that it won't affect it

I thought that the Vapor 4 would not fit the iPhone 4S.

On Element's website it states " I understand this is only for AT&T (GSM) iPhone 4 and not the iPhone 4S"

Bought my white vapor pro on aliexpress from a seller by the name of "Jacky Nile".

I paid for it via paypal. I'm extremely happy with it!

That was due to reception issues from the GSM and CDMA, but the 4S has different antennas now. The opening for the button placement would be fine.
 
people with the authentic Vapor Pro were reporting issue with GPS reception...wifi works fine, but not GPS on the 4S. Check out the thread...

That's why they came out Vapor Comp with the plastic side to eliminate all reception issues.

When paying with PayPal, did she ask you to send the funds as a gift or as payment for goods/services? Most of the sellers that accept PayPal told me I had to send the funds as a gift.

My order from Jacky Nie was paid as a payment for goods. Jacky didn't say how payment should be sent so it went that way. I received a tracking number so I guess it was ok.

If payment is sent as a gift, doesn't that mean you cannot file a dispute to get funds back if you need to?

that is correct...if you send as gift, then you have ZERO protection.

I'm sure most of us have to deal with paypal for ebay purchases....it's not easy to resolve issue...if seller show proof of delivery....then buyer is SOL.

there is a reason why they avoid using paypal because they charge a fees to the seller, especially from a different country.

both have pretty good feedbacks and ratings...I believe all of these come from the same wholesale manufacturing. go with the ones that make you feel comfortable, but it seems more people have more experience with Jacky Lin.

I just bought my white vapor pro through dhgate yesterday and it got shipping confirmation today I am happy. Ill post pics when I get in

She didn't specify, so I sent it as goods. It went through and I got a thank you email from her. I should get tracking once she ships it tomorrow.

I'll be more than happy to review the case for you! I'll post up pictures and a review of some sort on this forum and tell my friends where I got it from.
