I dont think the shape of the Vapor Comp is very exciting, personally. Looks like a mickey mouse kinda case. The Vapor pro looks much nicer IMHO. One of my friends has a Vapor 4 in Satin nickel, what a beautiful case, even though it has signal reception issues.

I do like the vapor pro but the part where the case sticks out for the antenna just isnt doing it for me. I dont know if youve seen GadgetMac's review on the comp but it looks extremely nice from his pictures.

I love Gadgetmac's site. Yes, Ive seen the pics. the black on white makes it look good, but a black vapor pro on white iphone would look even better ;). The curves in top and bottom portions ruin it for me. To each his own, if you like the look, go for it. There are even knockoffs available now if you dont want to spend 100$+ :p

EDIT : Have you looked at Vapor 4 design ? Much cleaner look and reportedly 4S owners are not getting those drastic signal problems that us iPhone 4 owners had to deal with, with the Vapor 4.

----------

Ada still has the 2pc lot order for it.

Someone posted earlier that some sellers are selling it by the piece now......
EDIT : were you talking about the Vapor COMP knockoff ? I dont see it on that link you provided.

They were talking about the Comp. Ada used to sell the pro by piece but took that off for some reason.

Oh.... thanks for the link, we couldnt find her on aliexpress anymore ..... the old links were not working. I like the orange insert with black combo. Might have to give it a try with all the reports of good quality from Ada Li.

I'm noticing my black ops case fits better on my wife's 4s vs my 4. The fit is more snug and less movement on the 4s. I'm not sure if others can confirm this but just something to think about.

The original Vapor pro is $129.99 USD, it's so expensive. i think the fake one is a good choice, as the quality is good enough. My friend bought the original one is so regret for it, beacause her sister bought the fake Vapor Pro just for $25, it looks the same as hers, but the price is less than one hundred dollors.

Is your phone black and her's white? The white iPhone is thicker for both the 4 and 4S.

I believe the 4S overall is also ever so slightly thicker.

I've been using my Vapor Pro knockoff purchased from jacky Lin for a few weeks now and here is my opinion;

Fit and finish is excellent. My cases were not loose at all. They were actually tight. No paint chips at all.
Cell phone signal is reduced by 1-2 bars and only is an issue when in weak areas.
GPS signal is worthless. I found that out last week when I went to NY City to see a Christmas show. Couldn't even pull up a gps signal at all. Maybe it was the tall buildings? Not sure, but my Map feature and find my iPhone features are not working with the case on even in the areas where it immediately works when I remove the case.
The screws keep coming loose. Seems like I tighten them at least once a week. Not sure why.

All in all, the case still looks great, and for those willing to settle for a reduction in signal and gps capability, it is a great bargain at under $30 bucks.

4 or 4S? Verizon, AT&T or Sprint?
The reason I ask is because I used mine on my white Verizon 4 and white Verizon 4S and neither had any issues with cell signal or GPS signal.

I got my Element Pro from Simon. The quality is excellent as you describe. Have NO issues with any type of reception - phone and all features work perfectly. I too have the screw issue - gonna put a tiny bit of locktight blue on them.

Anyone know if the white/white one from jackie lin is the new batch of good ones?

Also hows the siver/silver one from him? Thinking of buying the silver/silver or white/white.

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-f...aft-Grade-Aluminium-Case-for-wholesalers.html

The picture that listing shows is of the old style with the short rf bridge. I would assume with all of the problems the white batch had, sellers would be sure to post new pictures and make it very clear that it was from a new batch. On a positive note, I received my silver/silver pro from jacky Lin last week and I love it. It fits great and looks great, and the packaging looks so realistic it's almost funny the lengths these people go to. My only regret is not ordering more.

i would like to know too because i rather have GPS signal then the case.

You must have ignored my post. She is still on aliexpress. The old links are dead because she doesn't sell 1pc orders anymore. Only 2pc.

haha sory i skipped your post, thanks

Just got my red/silver vapor pro from jacky lin.

I ordered a vapor 4 from eBay for 18 bucks and the fit was horrendous, i could easily push the phone out if i wanted to because the felt pads were very thin.

This new vapor pro is outstanding! my house is a dead zone to begin with and i still have 3 bars on verizon and full wi fi. Rarely use GPS so i'll get on that later. This finish is nice and the pieces fit into place for the most part. I wanna buy a black ops edition and probably will now that i know this is the read deal.
