Fake Vapor Pro Reviews

Has anyone ordered the bright metallic blue Vapor 4 from Celia Chen? I'm curious as to the fit and color quality. It reminds me of those blue mazda3's and I love that color.

Fit and finish are very good, but I'm not a huge fan of the color, I think it would look a lot better on a White iPhone...

Is that a blue colored skin I see under your Black Ops? Cause my case (see below) wont fit with a skin on (Lucky Labs Carbon Fiber). DId you remove your foam?


My bootleg Vapor Pro from Jackie Lin came today.

I think some dimension might be ever so slightly off, cause man the fit is tight. I had to play with some of the foam to get the edges of the case to 'seal' together properly, and at one point, the plastic to aluminum connection was pulling apart.

However now that I've tweaked it, I'm pretty happy with it. The quality seems to be on part with the memories of my legit Vapor Pro, however the orange isn't "yellowy" orange, its more of a burnt, reddish orange. I kinda dig it.

Jackie tossed in the carbon fiber backplate and a black power button like I asked as well (though didn't reply on the website).


So other than the post office mishap (my zipcode was 6 digits long instead of 5), I'm actually pretty pleased. Might even order again.
 
Don't buy from Simon

Please don't buy from Simon. He pulled a bait and swap on me. The pictures all showed new Vapor Pro's with long RF bands but he sent me an early Vapor Pro with short RF band and ZERO rubber inserts. I didn't even try to see how it would due to fear of scratching my phone.
 
Just got mine today. I had originally ordered back on 11/24 and finally got it today. The usps around me has been backed up and the postman didn't even bother knocking on my door, he just marked it as an attempted delivery and i had to go pick it up myself.

Mine is perfect, (silver/blue/clear) i got one for my fiance (pink/black/black) and the bottom part where the screws are is not as flush for hers(maybe the screws aren't long enough on that one we will try the spare screws soon and see if it makes a difference. I have been browsing this forum since i had the thought of getting the 4s (i'm on sprint) and enjoyed the help portrayed on this forum.

Although i just joined i plan on staying as a part of the community.

Quick question since this came from china... is anyone aware if there is lead used in the paint or anything? just concerned and haven't seen anything on this asked...

Yep Lucky Labs Blue wrap...
My case fit without issue, and with the foam pads in place...

The pads will compress after being used for a day.

I've taken the case off and inspected after using it for a week and no problems...
 
Im really loving my white vapor pro, but don't really like how slippery slidey this is on my lap or anywhere really. Wish there was some silicone on the edges somehow. Any cases like this, like I'm describing? lol

People need to post pictures....this is a review thread afterall. we should be posting pictures telling people which seller to buy from!

Its all well and good posting that you received the case but pictures are a must!

Does anyone know any China sellers that offer true carbon fiber cases? This link provides one of the best reviewed carbon fiber cases. I don't recommend it for the 4 (due to possible signal drop), but I would for anyone on the 4s. Also, if someone is interested in buying from these people, they just did a special on the for $24.99. I hope they throw it back for Christmas. Otherwise, I need a good China seller that makes something like this. Real carbon fiber, not a wrap like those in eBay.

Is that one of Ada Li / Celia Chen's cases ? With the orange insert ? It looked a much richer orange in the pics he/she posts on the listings. Or is it just the angle or lighting ?

yea ada li, the orange isnt as rich as the pictures. I think i prefer it like that though...

bought from Jacky Lin ordered 11/24 delivery attempted on 12/9/11

Mine is in good condition trying to take pics of mine soon. I noticed a light paint chip but nothing crazy as i read before through this thread that it will eventually start to lose the color (i also read that it was common on the real ones as well)

this is a picture of my fiances. I couldn't take a good pic of the slight gap in the bottom area where the screws go in but she is happy as is.

the gap is similar to the ones posted a couple pages back with the red and silver(or white) case... the post stating that his seller was jacky ni and that he would contact him in regards to that....

QUICK QUESTION IS THERE ANY TESTS OR CERTAINTY THAT THERE IS NO LEAD IN THE PAINT?
just wondering as it is from china and the regulations are more relaxed, it is a concern that i have not seen discussed. If i may have missed it my apologies.

If you're worried about the lead, try not to eat your case and you'll be fine. ;)

You can get lead poisoning from touching lead and then touching food that youre about to eat. It doesnt have to be the lead itself lol.
