What can I say, but WOW!!!!

This tweak is great. I thought it would just speed up transitions and app switching. it seems to enable apps to grab data over 3g quicker too...

This is fantastic.

Thanks to the developer if you're reading this :D

.....ooh and the OP!!!. Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for sharing this great app! I'm sticking with 1.6~
haha it's so cute when they "wiggle"

Sorry if I am repeating what everyone else has stated throughout this whole thread :D Just amazed!

I was very skeptical when installing this tweak. I've used it only for a few minutes but so far I'm loving it so far. I'll probably update this post in a few days after using it.

Glad to see more and more people using this amazing tweak. take note though, the majority of this thread is based on the original (first) version, and some have complained that the updated version is buggy.
If you have problems with the updated version, roll back, the original is pretty wholesome.

I REALLY liked this... but I had to uninstall it because it was really hurting my battery life. Anyone else have this problem? I suppose it's not really a "problem" But I use my phone a lot, and can't charge it throughout the day, so I need all the battery life I can get.

It's NOT a bug. Read the patch notes. The update makes the wiggle animation move at stock speed. It ONLY affects the wiggle animation (the one which happens when you long tap icons to move). It is intended to only affect the wiggle animation so that it doesn't wiggle crazy fast.

This isn't just about wiggle speed, this is about all animations. It will stop working randomly for myself as well. All animations go back to stock speed.

A respring from SBsettings will fix it and then the animations are clocked back up to the setting I have set them to.

Huh, I haven't run into that yet.

Yep! I ran into this problem as I notice that a lot of times it wasn't working. At first I thought that I just got accustom to the speed, but after comparing it side by side with the wife's stock 4, I notice that the tweak stopped working. After a respring and sometimes a reboot it started working again but for a period of time. I was using the updated version so, I unistalled it and reinstalled the original version from the moyashi repo that it has not been updated and so far so good.

I know this is a free tweak, used it myself, but you guys should really take a look at Springtomize It blows all other tweaks straight out of the water :p

I thought on the newest update for this tweak, the wiggle animations are stock speed on purpose, the rest of the animations work at the speed you choose, at least for me its never slowed down again.

Good to hear. What repo has the original (not updated) version?

The original can be found here too: http://hitoriblog.com/apt/

The updated version was on this repo but I think the developer took it down. I had the second version but uninstalled the tweak and when I went to look for the original version it was there but the updated version wasn't. I just did this last week so I think it should still be there.

Just installed the original and WOW, what a great tweak. Had to dial it back to 1.6 because it was too fast (what a great problem to have...a phone that's too fast)!

Today is showing an update on the moyashi repo to version 0.2-1 but, no actual change log.

I saw that too. Originally, version 0.2-1 was uploaded a couple of months back and the change log said it kept the icon wiggle animation like stock. It was taken down shortly after. This version 0.2-1 doesn't keep that animation at stock speed, it wiggles just as fast as the original.

I'm not sure what changed but I installed it and things are still nice and fast. :)

The change is you no longer have to respring for the effects to enable. You can choose any speed and it is now reflected instantly. Now I think we need 1.8x and it'll be perfect.

I went to moshayi's website thru Cydia, which it's Japanese or something, and found a Change log. Used Google translate.

0.2-1 - 2011.4.21 - Just another 0.2. As Changes are applied when you change settings.
