I've got three, to give you all an idea:
dont quit your day job....
here are my ipho..err..iPod Gen 6 concepts
Concept Idea - Tall profile Mac Mini
I had this idea, instead of the mac mini sitting on its belly, why not cut its footprint and stand it up!
Top: I used the apple cube idea of a vertical slot loading drive
Front: I guess it would be cool for the apple logo to light up, like macbooks etc. IR Receiver and sleep light too
Rear: Pretty similar to the current mini, except with HDMI. Thought about a Mac Pro style mesh instead of the vents on the current mac mini...
The iPod concept might actually come true. Just in a more white casing.
I love it! I would buy that in a heartbeat.
I like the idea of a tall Mac Mini. Also if you could turn the light on the Apple off (for those with Mac Mini's in darkened rooms), it would be cool as well.
Excellent work all, keep it coming.
Rather than adding more files to the server just copied from other threads -
and then theres
from the fabled multitouch imac thread
*Waits for Teh WedgeMac*
Don't mock. Teh WedgeMac was pretty functional, in a Duplo sort of way
Nice mockups to all who have posted them.
Personally I am still waiting for my PowerBook G5.
It kinda looks like the zune.
Well since you asked
I designed it in 2004, the zune wasn't even considered then, plus its not brown
Now we are getting somewhere!! Nice job!
I would buy it.
Just remember to trim any nose hair, in case you want to use iChat
Looks like Microsoft went from copying Apple to copying you.
You forgot, it's rumored to have an aluminum enclosure...so it will look closer to the original version:
U2 iMac I made a year or so ago. My first Gimp creation as well.
ah, that thread is THE defining thread of imac designs! I loved seeing it unfold from beginning to end.
a MR classic.
now wheres the local legal advice thread, might be able to get a few pence
Shake ol' Bill down for all he's worth.
Great mockup, by the way.
Ohhhh, that would rock.
anyone up for drawing my "iPhone nano"?
- it's shaped like iPod Shuffle 2G but longer and fits around your ear, like a bluetooth headset;
- has a small 3 line LCD to show what number is being dialed/caller ID;
- has a clickwheel to pick numbers from the phone list (previously imported from a computer);
These all made me laff. Then, I've had a beer...
