...My Character at the Prospector Saloon in Good Springs
This is the best you can do. You can't move the camera
to look at the front of your character.

I loaded 10 mods, including upgraded textures and launched this based on @Queen6's recommendation. I'm using Vortex Mod Manager which is the best. I hung onto Nexus Mod Manager for years, just because I was used to it. This is better, it advises of conflicts, changes load order, and you can save it's suggestions for conflicts. If not familiar, do the tutorial. FNV is not nearly as refined as Fallout 4.

So far so good! He calls it the best Fallout from an RPG standard, only time will tell. Obvious, Fallout 4 has better graphics, but FNV's are adequate, the character models in comparison take a hit (created 5 years earlier).

I'm not actually sure what this character's background is. A quick search online did not reveal. In the intro cut scene, you are shot, killed, and buried by some gangster. In the game, your body is dug up and brought to the Doc to revive and patch you up. Then he puts you in a Vault suit and gives you a PipBoy... I don't know the why of that either.

Anyway I'm playing the GoG.com version of the game, super edition or something like that., I'm having trouble getting clean screenshots minus that HUD. In F4, if you hit ~, that freezes the action and puts you into the console and "TM" removes the HUD, then take your pic. However in FNV, "TM" does say "removing menus" but it does not remove the console print, and those commands are captured when I'm taking a screen shot. So I'm still trying to figure out how to fix this issue...

Eventually I'll list my mods, and get some screen shots posted...

I noticed that people say that Fallout New Vegas runs under Crossover 25.

I'll have to give it a try.

edit: I gave it a try and it runs although the fps seems somewhat low. MacOS does not support 32 bit games but Crossover can run the 32 bit games although not as well as 64 bit games.

Fallout 76 also runs for me under Crossover 25 but I have an issue with my field of view (FoV). The mouse will only turn 45 degrees each way from side to side and up and down. I don't think it's necessarily a Crossover issue since there are many post online about mouse issues with Fallout 76.

Sunny Smiles in Good Springs
(Not my image, this maybe has an improved modded appearance.
My image from my game added to Post 1)

Character Movement is relatively crude compared to Fallout 4. I added an appearance mod Character Expansion Revised to see if it helped their expressions, of which they only have one each.

I was about to comment that my Fallout Vegas doesn't look nearly as good as what you posted. I then saw your disclaimer :).
I need to grab a screen of Sunny since adding the mods. I’m down near NCR Mojave Outpost. Went over to Nipton to confront Caesar’s Legion. I was very pleased when outside City Hall, I wiped out an entire group and their dogs with a well thrown grenade.

I’m not happy that I can’t see the front of my character. Some of the characters can look pretty rough in this game.

Update: The environment, animation and combat in this game are so crude, it's hard for me to tolerate. I may not be sticking with it. :(

To make a comparison, Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines, came out in 2004 (6 years prior) and it's superior in almost every way. Granted, I've not been in FNV for long enough to let the plot thicken as they say, but the interiors of large buildings are just so bleak....
