Family iCloud storage and iCloud photo library

Hi,

My situation is currently my wife and I each have our own iCloud storage with our own iCloud Photo library

Also have Family sharing working perfectly....so want to enable Family iCloud storage.

Will my current iCloud Photo library being the main Family ID then form part of the shared iCloud storage or will I need to upload all of my Photo's to the Family iCloud storage?

...and when my wife enables Family iCloud storage do the same...or will her current iCloud storage & Photo library move across or do an upload?

Your iCloud Photo Libraries will remain separate, it's just the storage availability that will be merged. Nothing will have to re-upload.
