Family Member can't use Apple Music

    I have a problem with my Apple Music subscription. I have a Family Plan subscription to Apple Music. My account has no problem and I can use Apple Music on any of my devices. However, my wife, who is a member of Family, is not able to access Apple Music. When ever she tries to play any music via Apple Music, it takes her to a sign-up page and offers her three free months.

    I spent nearly an hour on a chat with Apple where they had me logout and log back in to her account in iTunes. We tried removing her from the Family and then adding her back. Nothing worked.

    I should note, this is on both her iPhone and iMac, so it looks like it is an account issue.

    Anyone else have had this problem before? Anything I can point Apple to get her account fixed?

    Hi,

    Had this issue when adding my Wife - Tried the same as yourself to no avail. In the end the only thing that fixed it was to remove her from family sharing - and then re-add back in - this got her up and running.

    Not a "Just Works" experience at the moment.

    I was having the same problem. Could download any music from Apple Music, but could not play the radio stations; it would always pop up "You're already an Apple Music member", but no music would play.

    Did the other steps like signing out of iTunes and App Store and turning off the "Show Apple Music", but the fix for me was to remove my wife from the Family Sharing group, and re-add back in.
