Family Setup Question - Transfer

Has anyone figured out how to transfer the Apple Watch that was setup via Family Setup to a different iPhone. Scenario: child is now old enough for their own iPhone. Can you transfer their Apple Watch to their phone? If so, how?

I’m also wondering whether it’s possible to transfer our daughter’s Family Setup watch from my phone (I originally set it up) to my wife’s phone (she will probably manage more on an ongoing basis)

This is intriguing.

I remember when I set up my new iPhone 14 Pro (by placed it side by side with my old iPhone X) it asked I want to set up for me or child member. I'd imagine select your child Apple ID will do the trick. The watch would transfer to this iPhone as well perhaps?

Yes might might do it and transfer watch also.
