Hi, I am not really up to date with the benefits of family sharing. Long time ago I decided to create ONE iTunes account for app purchases + everyone has their own iTunes (iCloud?) account used for iMessage, backups etc. It worked great because everyone could have accessed paid apps including in app purchases. There is no credit card tied to this iTunes shopping account since I am topping up using gift cards.

Now I would like to buy 200GB cloud storage and share them equally between 3 family users. What's the best approach to achieve this? Should I buy it on the iTunes shopping account and share it to 3 users? Can I share 100% storage data leaving the purchasing iTunes account with free storage allowance only?

Should I switch to family sharing and disregards iTunes shopping account? I could achieve this by disregarding my iTunes personal account and converting the iTunes shopping account to my personal one (master) and then invite others to the family. What are the cons? I heard in app purchases does not work with family sharing?

Anyone? Maybe more clear:

Me I have personal iCloud account let's say me@icloud.com (iMessage, backup etc BUT not the apps)
My wife has her iCloud account wife@icloud.com (iMessage, backup etc BUT not the apps).
My daughter has her iCloud account daughter@icloud.com (iMessage, backup etc BUT not the apps).

On all accounts we share THE SAME apps@itunes.com iTunes account for APP purchases using gift cards, this way everyone have access to all purchased APPS and inAPPs.

Now I want to buy 200GB and share it with everyone. Should I buy it from me@icloud.com account and then setup family sharing for this storage only? Will other members of the family be able to keep THE SAME apps@itunes.com iTunes account? Is the storage shared on (personal) iCloud level or iTunes level. So basically can I share the storage from me@icloud.com to wife@icloud.com & daughter@icloud.com or they will have to change the apps@itunes.com the we all use for iTunes to their personal iCloud accounts in order for this to work?

Same question for Apple Music. Is it bought & shared on personal iCloud level or iTunes level. Because if it is shared on iTunes level, then it will not be possible for them to keep apps@itunes.com ...

I have managed to answer the above. Here is the thing. I bought 200GB on my personal iCloud account me@icloud.com . I shared it with my family (same country), however they are unable to accept the invitation because our shared iTunes shopping account apps@itunes.com is from different country than our iClouds. What I had to do is to ask them to log out from the shared apps@itunes.com and accept the family invitation again. It worked. Then they were able to bring back our shared iTunes purchasing account apps@itunes.com

However it won't work with music since it is tied to iTunes... By using apps@itunes.com we would end up having the same play lists etc. So I chose Spotify family route and the only thing I share with my family is iCloud drive.
