Hi, we are a family of two and have enabled Family Sharing.

This works great, except that our iTunes and App Store purchases are not shared. I assume this is because the Organizer (me) has two Apple ID's: one for the iTunes Store and one as my iCloud account (because of historic reasons). My partner luckily only has one Apple ID.

- The Family Sharing is (obviously) initiated from my iCloud account.
- The Family consists of our 2 iCloud ID's while the Apple ID used for iTunes purchases is not part of the Family.
- We also have an Apple Music Family account (my music library is linked to the Apple ID for the iTunes Store).

How can my partner access the iTunes purchases?

Solution 1) I tried to log in with my Apple ID for iTunes purchases on my partners' iPhone in the iTunes Store assuming this would enable access to the iTunes purchases. This worked! But it had the annoying side-effect that it replaced my partner's music with my music library.

Solution 2) Apple Support suggested I sign out of my Apple ID for the iTunes Store, and then I would be able to add that account to the Family Sharing (as a "fake" third person). I tried this but it does not work as my iPhone and Mac refuse to add me as it states I'm already part of the family.

If even Apple does not know how to fix this? Anybody another suggestion?
