Hey people,

I was watching the simple life 2 today (please, dont shoot me!). Anyway, as I was watching, I realised that Paris hilton uses a mac! (well, at least I think so). So, who else have you seen that uses a mac? would be interesting to see- I think a majority would be using macs because they look so good, right? besides, walking into an apple store is so much cooler than walking to a 'dell stand' to get a computer :D

See the Pic below. Sorry it's huge but im too lazy to resize.

These pretzels are making me thirsty / beam me up Scotty

Jerry Seinfield uses macs in his TV show. In the early episodes there is a Mac Plus (in the left hand corner behind the lounge) - yes I have watched Seinfeld episodes for a long time. In the later episodes there is a Mac Duo with a dock and monitor in the same place. :D

Scotty from Star Trek uses a Mac in StarTrek 4 - The voyage home to make some transperant aluminium.

Missing from that list is Stephen Fry -- fairly famous in the UK and extremely vocal about his love of all things Apple...

"Hello Computer"

"Hello Computer" (speaking into the mouse)

"Just use the keyboard"

Check this site http://applemuseum.bott.org/sections/users.html. They only list about 100,000,000,000 people and comp.

BTW - DELL is on the list as a Apple customer. I wonder what they use? It would just be great is Dell used Apple internally for support.

Doug

Cool - thanks for the list. I really wanted to see what celebs use them in 'real life' tho. TV sets always have macs everywhere (and theres loads of threads showing what programs macs have been shown on), but who uses them personally? I've thought of a few..

Steriogram - they use them a lot, there was even a case study on them for apple.com

BT - although he's not really a celebrity, he still is quite famous and uses macs all the time.

John Mayer - He's appeared at Macworld and sworn by his powerbook at concerts before - a cool mac fan :)

Tony Hawk.
There is a thread here somewhere about his comments on MACs in a UK radio show.
EDIT:
And Moby. He has a gallery on his website. You can see him playing with his iBook. It's full of stickers.

She's too stupid to operate a Windows box.

Shaquille O'Neal, Both Presidents Bush, Bill Clinton, Al Gore (obviously), Aaron Sorkin, Brian Singer (I believe that is the guys name-director/creative force behind the first two X-Men movies and the new Superman), Rush Limbaugh (sorry, but he is famous), I also believe that I heard that JJ Abrams (guy behind Alias, Lost, and M:I 3) uses one, but I am much less sure of that.

If it's good enough for Spielberg...

Friend who has toured Spielberg's studios said it was replete with Macs. Hope I don't get sued for this speculatory impulse ;)

yeah she uses iMovie for all her "movies"

anyway... in the LP/JZ album it shows linkin park with a bunch of macs. (Display, Powerbook, ect) All of them seem to know how to use them very well.

Conan O'Brien is on the list, but by the way he was talking to Bill Gates at CES you could swear he has a PC. Also, I emailed applemuseum and told them to add Alton Brown from Food Network.

John Kerry. Drew Carey Show. Steve Jobs. :D

And yes, Steriogram doesn't come as much of a surprise. Remember the use of "Walkie Talkie Man" for the video at WWDC?
