The fans are throttled up when the hardware gets hotter. Haven't you been experiencing this already? 😕

Not really, hence I asked; I notice the high temp and then I run smc to cool it down... so I wondered if I was just neurotic about the temp. I figure Apple should know better then smc. The only time I notice fan noise is when I start up smc.

On which Mac are you experiencing this? Are you monitoring the temperature as well? Can you give some numbers?
