Fan noise from MBP 2010

How can I make the Macbook Pro 15" more silent? It often produces fan noise like 'tick tick tick tick....' 🙁
 
Tick tick tick is more of a HDD noise. The SMS in the HDD sounds like that. Are you sure it's coming from the fans?
