America's High Five
Hey all, I ran a few searches but couldn't find anything relevant. I have a 13" MacBook aluminum (upgraded to 4gb Ram and 500gb HD). I like to play alot of games (primarily MineCraft) and watch movies with it and I have become concerned with the fan. I know it is normal for it to get louder when it kicks on to a higher speed but it gets pretty warm to the touch after a while. Are there any decent fan upgrades available that would improve cooling and reduce noise? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

No, there are no fan upgrades. What you want is something like SMC fan control that will make the fan run faster at a given temperature. Alternatively, you could get one of those mats that has a fan built in that plugs into your USB port.

Try searching for a product called cool ball. I am using one and the temp improvement ia around 5 degrees. Not bad.
