Fandango Crashes

Fandango shows the splashscreen for a few seconds, then it crashes before ever really opening. any way to fix?

This has happened with a couple other apps in the past, where reinstalling them was the fix but it isn't working this time.

FB and words with friends was crashing the other day also for me. seems like it may be widespread. happened to a friend as well.
