I would say that it speaks of their youth. No real responsibility, if they have the time then more power to them. Personally I'm not much into standing in line.

My two most recent was for Apple. Waited in line fora bout an hour at the opening of the North Shore Apple Store. That was over three years ago. My most recent was at the Panther Release Party. My wife and I were first in line, waited about two hours. It was a lot of fun. Got to visit with mac fans behind us. We also had shoppers in the mall sop by inquiring what the line was about. Was proud to talk about Apple.

PS. I didn't talk my wife into standing at sub zero temperatures for 4 hours just to get a free T-Shirt at the Apple store opening in London.

I spent 2 hours in line to get a free t-shirt from the apple store at victoria gardens. Im told this store is one of the few that has the name of the store on it. How true that is i dunno.

We've made a tradition of going to Star Wars movies on opening night, waiting in big lines for an hour, at the same theater and with the same family friends each time. So we'll make it 6 in a row and do it for "Revenge of the Sith" too.

We won't be at Grauman's Chinese Theater (and maybe neither will the movie!), but I've camped out all day for other movie openings at the Chinese. It's just part of the fun to hang out with like-minded fans. Any of us who spend many consecutive hours hanging around at MacRumors on a given day are doing essentially the same thing.

NO

It is not.

However, about 40,000 people put it down as their religion in the last UK census.

After the horror that was the Phantom Dribble  the trilogy should hopefully be ending on a more quality note.

Yes I know - it called satire.

It is only on the census form list of religions not recognised offically.

And it was about 390,000 people

If 'The return of Seth' is any good I'd be very surprised.

(Yes I also know that that is wrong too.) I just couldn't help thinking of Seth from Emmerdale thats all.

That is one funny story. The crazy part is that I could have been one of those people.

Okay,
The radio just announced that the folks at Fox are saying that Mann's Chinese Theater will NOT be showing Star Wars. According to sources at Fox, it will be shown at the Arclight.

Further, 11 fans have refused to accept the news and will remain in line at Mann's Chinese Theater. For seven weeks.
Oddly enough, if you read some of the articles, the people in line claim that the same thing was said for some of the other movies.

They could be doing something a bit more productive or even entertaining, don't you think? I see it as rather pathetic. All that time and that's all they can think to do? I don't know about you, but I was never that young or that bored. :) On the other hand, I guess I see what you're saying- I just don't get it.
