Fantastic little MagSafe stand (cheap)

Thought I would share a great little MagSafe stand with you guys. This stand holds the original Apple MagSafe puck and is very versatile. You can pretty much charge your phone at any angle with this stand. Also, if you are using a fat non MagSafe case like the Otterbox Defender pro you can adjust the stand where you can just prop the phone up against the charger and still charge in portrait mode or flat on its back. Made from aluminum construction with very tight hinges. Great little stand for $19.00 on Amazon. It's by Omoton.

Good thread. Hope you don’t mind me sharing my stand. Maybe this can become the official stand thread?

I was also on the lookout for an adjustable MagSafe holster style stand after my initial 3rd party “2 in 1” charge stand constantly left my AirPods case very warm.

So I think the safest & most practical way to do this is via something like you’ve used - just get the official MagSafe puck & place it in a cheap, adjustable stand.

I ended up grabbing a similar model. I can’t really recommend it though as it needed repairing out of the box - the screw that attached the top plate to the stem was threaded. It was a fairly easy fix once epoxy resin was applied & now works as intended.

I got this one from AliExpress where you’ll find heaps of similar options. Just make sure you pay with PayPal so you’re covered as sellers there aren’t as helpful as those on Amazon & may give you a hard time for any refunds/exchanges.
