Thank dog I'm not the only one.. what kind of sequal completely undercuts it's 'parent'?
Was that the one where suddenly they were all from Outer Space? I don't think I watched through to the end.

I take it there wasn't much to miss

Yep. All from another planet. Apparently the writer needed crack money, so he **** that script out over a weekend of partying in Vegas.

Funnily enough, also starting Michael Ironside as the bad guy.. the same as beatsme's pick of The Omega Code.
I detect a pattern!

actually, Highlander 3 was even worse
I know it sounds hard to believe ;)

Endgame wasn't bad. I liked the series quite a bit.

Didn't know that existed.. But Mario Van Peebles is such a fine actor!

oh yea...there's 45 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Couldn't finish it...

To slightly get back on track.. I don't think I've ever seen a Vin Diesel movie. Oh wait.. he was in Saving Private Ryan, right?

Beyond that, I hate rice-rocket-kit-cars with oversized spoilers, loudeners rather than mufflers, and patch putty in place of a decent paint job.

I especially enjoyed his bravura turn as "Stitch Jones" in the Eastwood classic Heartbreak Ridge :p

Funny that's the only other movie I could think of off the top of my head and (having seen it again recently) it reminded my of just how awefully he acted that part. The rocker that was not.

vin diesel was the only good part. The first one was the best, just raw real-life situations. 2nd one bad story, stupid cars, just bad. Paul walker sucks as a actor. 3rd, cars were way over done, and kinda cheesy story. Basically first one good, then went down hill from their

As for the movie, who the heck were they trying to kid that someone can drift that junction in Shibuya at night? For sure it's impossible, not with the amount of people that crosses there every day!
That was my thought when I first saw the trailer in theaters... ugh, get real. Everything Japanese is so overplayed lately. It's turned into this glamorous fakey fantasy world for people who don't know any better.

Hm... worst movie I've ever seen... I know I'm forgetting a big one, and I'll probably rush back to post once it comes to me, but off of the top of my head, Van Helsing sucked the big one. One of the only movies that had me laughing out loud in the theatre... at a death scene (though I tried really hard to stifle it, but I think everyone else was thinking the same thing).

I HATED the theme song to the movie. The MOST annoying thing in the world!! Those high pitched Japanese women trying to rap/sing "Fahhhh an Furiouhhhhhhs" felt like I had justed puked inside my mouth, then swallowed it and then threw it up on the floor only then to scoop it up and eat it. TERRIBLE!!

Ok, tell us how you really feel. lol

Anyway, IMO the first two Fast and the Furious movies were awesome, especially the the 2nd one. I would not even consider Tokyo Drift a sequel...this movie doesn't even have Paul Walker in it who was the franchise star.

Tokyo Drift is an excellent movie. Anyone who says that they hate it actually hates Japanese people. You are preaching japanese fear and trying to get us to turn against the japanese people and their country. The movie is a cultural jem worth trillions to entire world capable maintaining peace throughout the world. Not excepting the movie is equal to turning your back on the japanese people and the human race. You should be ashamed...very ashamed..

LONG LIVE THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT!!!!!!

Fast and the furious: Burlin Boxed Cars will be better. I must agree, cabin boy was the dumbest movie next to Dogma and Goodbye cruel World.

Bless

you've always struck me as really cool, so I'm going to give you a pass on Dogma :p

I loved that movie, but, to each his own :)

Actually, have any of you ever seen Manos: The Hands of Fate? That is infinitely worse than any of the Fast and the Furious films. You don't know the meaning of "bad movie" if you don't see that movie.

The ONLY fun I had with Highlander 2 and 3 was after the heads got cut off, hitting rewind on my VCR and watching them roll back up and reattach. :D

Heres my opinion on Tokyo Drift - Not enough japanese girls. Then again, you can never have too many. :D
