I recently purchased an iPad Pro So it's my first device with fast charging.

I was wondering if there's any data on how it affects battery life.

I haven’t come across any useful bigger analysis personally.
When you think about what Apple charges for a battery replacement that you may or may not need depending on your use case it’s probably not worth to take special steps for a longer battery life.

Thanks. I'm always looking for long equipment life. (My relatives are grateful for the free castoffs)
The thing is I don't need fast charging mostly because I would have to find an outlet for the thing. I use a 6-port USB charger because I got tired of all the bricks.

Well, heat is a big factor to keep in mind when it comes to fast charging. Excessive heat will reduce battery life.

I usually charge the iPad to 85-90% and let it discharge to 60%, while once a week discharging it to 30%. I believe this pro longs the battery life. I don't fast charge my iPad or even my iPhone with the same charging brick, my phone is at 89% battery health with constant discharging. Would not worry that much tbh with apple's algorithms.

Right. The heating from fast charging was what concerned me. The only issue I have is that a 2.4A charger is just enough to power the thing while I'm using it but not enough to charge the battery. A First World problem, surely. :)
