Is fast charging the iPad Pro bad for the battery in the long term?

I've been considering using a rMB USB C charger to speed charging times but asked myself if there might be any good reason Apple did not include a faster charger... one came to mind: could fast charging damage the battery's health?

Totally safe. The USB Charger will only deliver the safe amount of current for the iPad.
I have been using the 29W USB-C Power Adapter and a USB-C to Lightning cable for over a year without any issues. However, having said that Apple no longer lists the 29W USB-C Power Adapter with the iPad Pro’s accessories, which is very strange.
