Fast forwarding video clips?

Is it possible to fast forward video clips in iMovie HD? By fast forwarding i mean doubling the playback speed.

Yes. Select the clip, click the Editing tab (bottom right, between Media & Chapters), select the VideoFX tab at the top, select Fast/Slow/Reverse, and use the slider to set your speed before clicking Apply.
