I’m wondering if supporting the now old processor in Apple TV is what is holding back these games from being all they can be. I love asphalt 8 airborne, still a daily play on my Apple TV the graphics and games play are great. Asphalt 9 never made it to the Apple TV, it’s graphically superior and I’m guessing pushed past Apple TV hardware. Does this account for the Animated drawing/borderlands style graphics as opposed to the more photo realistic styles I’m sure many of these games might otherwise use?
If it weren't for the micro-pauses every now and then I might agree with you. :)

A few examples from a game play video – Asphalt 8: Airborne [1080p 60, Apple TV 4K (5th generation) Gameplay]:

•Stutter in the beginning at 3:38:

•Stutter at 3:48:

•Micro-pause at 4:12:

These are things that would be unacceptable on the console and PC side of gaming, but we who play on Apple devices don't seem to bother? :D

This is what bugs me about Apple. I wish they'd release their own joytick or controller device that works with every game, and have some kind of consistent standard. I downloaded this and spent about two minutes before giving up in frustration. Nice looking game but impossible to play on a touch screen, and if I want to play it properly I have to test have a dozen controllers from other companies.

I don’t know what they’re laughing about ..

Apple are always late to the game then end up cleaning up

Is there not a tutorial? Or are you asking how to use the App Store?

I've downloaded this from the App Store and I was surprised to find out it's actually still an Intel App. When clicking on it Rosetta2 does it's thing, but after that it still won't open. Other (intel) games I've tried do work.

Ah, now that’s the critical information we needed!

Unfortunately you’re going to have to bring this up to the developer...
