Hi everyone I'm using iMovie HD to create some sort of video montage of my last vacation.

But there seems to be a glitch with the Fast/Slow/Reverse video effect (all other effects work fine). I adjust the slider to a desired speed, and when I click apply, the red rendering bar starts to fill, but after it fills up, the clip reverts back to its original state (including volume level -- I initially had the volume to 0%).

If anyone can help me ASAP that would be terrific.

Thx

P.S. In case it's useful info, I'm using a 2 GHz MacBook (w/ 60GB Hard Drive).

Thanks for the reply however I'm not very familiar with such files. Do you think you can tell me how to reset it? And I've already tried it with other projects. And what would you suggest if resetting the file fails to resolve the issue?

Thanks.

Don't use the iSight Video setup

It doesn't work for me when using the iSight video type. Try using the DV video setup for your project. You'll have to create a new project to do this.
