so, i recently created a new account on my mac, and i'd like to be able to use the "fast user switching" function to go back and forth between accounts quickly. however, needing to enter a password every time i switch back and forth is extremely annoying.

is there a way to stop the log-in window from popping up each time? or at least to disable the log-in passwords?

also, can i use the keyboard to switch between accounts (such as F10, F8, etc), rather than going to the top right corner of my screen? just curious.

thanks!

:)

what you need to do my friend is go into you account preferences and make it so there is no password for the accounts, and this will allow you to just go up to the upper right and switch without having to type in a password. Now if you "need" a password to protect your stuff, you'll understand why it would ask you that every time. :)
