What were you expecting? A rocket launcher?

I'm 100% happy with my Apple Watch, but the GPS will surely boost the sales (even tough most people would never need it, the accelerometer/gyroscope tracking is more than good enough).
a rocket launcher? no not really..but I was expecting a real,functional and attractive,slim watch.
the current form is just a fat, ugly second screen for the iPhone whether you agree or not.

I get moderator mail for light sarcasm. What do you get for this fascistic rant. Stop tell people
what to think--its a forum

It was a movie quote from Billy Madison. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I was just injecting a little humor.

We have the same frames. :)
Aren't they great frames? I've had mine since 2012 and just update the prescription. I even chucked them across a room as hard as I could once when the KC Chiefs lost a playoff game when they had a 30 point lead, lol, and they were fine aside from a slight scratch on the glass and the prescription was out of date anyway. The only thing is that the paint on the "O" wears off but it still looks good once I removed it all. But you can't beat titanium. I wish Apple offered a titanium version of the iPhone.

2013 here. And yes, I agree on all points. I'm pretty rough on mine too and they're great. Love them.

Jumping for joy. This might finally make the SE a worthy buy. They will need to have a robust barometer api that works in tandem with and aids location services of iOS/MacOS.

Why do people think the current one is too big? Every decent watch I've ever had has been larger. Usually, people who own quality watches or who want to look 'good' have massive watches. The bigger the better for these people.

If they make it slimmer it'll feel cheaper.

The best benefits for me would be if AW2 can be used standalone (without iPhone nearby) to communicate and control the HomeKit accessories (ex. Unlocking the door, etc).

Technically with wifi built into Apple Watch 1 the only thing stopping them from doing that now is software support. No need for an Apple Watch 2.

I'm guessing it'all happen around the same time they give the Apple TV HomeKit support. It seems stupid to have this hub in your living room that uses Siri to NOT support HomeKit commands.
