Can you check Apple System Profiler to make sure you're getting 3 gbs on your SATA bus?
Thats the first thing I have checked. Yes it is 3gbs
in mini.I have a little older macbook pro and it only allows 1.5gbs. So Thats y I took out the Intel ssd from the mbp
