It wouldn’t be. It should actually be slower, since that’s a USB 2.0 cable which maxes out at (theoretically) 480 Mbps. Wi-Fi would’ve used Wi-Fi 6e. I forget the theoretical max on that, but realistically you could get at least 1 Gbps or more.
Well, shame on me for assuming the Apple cable was better than USB 2.0. Like why are they even making a USB 2.0 cable these days?
 
I just setup transfer between iPhone to iPhone using no cable, the new iPhone didn't connect to Wifi so is it doing it all via bluetooth? I thought it would ask and do the iPhone to iPhone transfer via wifi?
 
Went from a 15 to a 16 Pro. Everything transferred in less than 30 minutes. This was done wirelessly.
