    Hi all,

Currently, I have 40 machines. What I am doing right now for clone the machines is that boot into Net Restore by press N key when boot up. Clone the system into 4 external hard drives. Then clone it back into others using the external drives. Is there anyway to do this faster? I have a server too.

    Regards,

    tp

    Net Restore

12 minute Mac minis off of an external 2.5" FireWire drive via ghetto boot or push it via Net Install.

What do you mean "ghetto boot"? Can you let me know more specific? It takes 20 minutes for net restored per each. How about 40 of them?

    Thanks for replaying,

For best results boot off of the external drive and image from it. If you try to image off of another machine to one that is connected via FireWIre it's much slower.
