Fastest way to restore iPhone: iCloud, Wifi Sync, usb Sync?

I'm wondering what you have found to be the fastest. I have a 64gb iP4S. there is about 28gb used up on it right now. I was having a software issue and reset the settings..... I was then prompted to restore the phone..... 4 hours later it was ready to go... That was just the settings via iCloud!!!😱

If I had to restore the entire device, which I did when I got my iPhone that took 11 hrs.
I realize that that is a lot of storage and I'm not expecting an hour or so to restore my device... But the current time frame seems a bit excessive to me....
How long does Wifi Sync take or even usb sync vs iCloud?

USB sync is always going to be faster.

Thanks! I wish there was a thunderbolt or firewire cable for this.....iPhone 5 please add this!
