I want to use Winclone to make an image of my bootcamp partition. Winclone says that the bootcamp partition needs to be NTFS format. Currently my bootcamp partition is in FAT 32 format. How do I change the format?

    thanks

Does that command makes you loose all your partition data? or it keeps it and just change it from FAT32 to NTFS while keeping everything in it?

It converts everything to NTFS. I'd recommend having a backup just in case.

do this for whatever drive you need to convert. windows is usually on the C: drive. the D drive thing was just how microsoft decided to write the example. nice of them to make it as clear as possible...

as he said, it converts the partition with the data intact. i've done hundreds with no problems, but there have been a few that crashed/destroyed everything for no reason. if you have important stuff, back it up first. best of luck.
