Ive has my original series 0 since June 2015 and have kept it amazing well since until Insomehow managed to crack the screen in December.

Now, I’ve spent 6 months thinking that I may have knocked it, although not at a moment I recall, and that it was my fault but I recently read that there have been reported faults across all models due to battery issues. The difference is; my screen hasn’t detached like many I’ve seen so I’m a little unsure if this is a fault or if I have been a little clumsy.

Photos attached, opinions? Worth a trip to the Apple store or is it my own doing?

Really looks like a scrape on the outside, you can see the brush marks on the crystal... sorry to say. Battery problem is from expansion inside the Watch and lifts the whole front away from the metal (or at least one/two edges).

I think the marks are actually just my mucky fingerprints, although that was my thought about it lifting away too so you're probably right to be honest. The thing I found particularly interesting about it was that it goes edge to edge, to the exact same place on either side, following the contour of the glass.

It’s just on that top edge? Can you take a picture from the top, looking along the Watch face (profile, if it comes out...)?

That’s a point I never thought of (doh!)... it doesn’t protrude at all (pic attatched)

Also, unrelated honourable mention: one of my favourite bands is from your hometown

Huh, yeah, doesn’t look bad at all in that pic... maybe more scratched than cracked?

Really, that’s cool! I didn’t know we were known for any bands.

Definitely cracked, You can feel it and light bleeds through from the display. Either way, think I'll just have to continue accepting this one as my own fault.

Looking at the photos, I don’t think Apple would do anything being it’s cosmetic damage. And in almost all cases if the battery was expanding, it literally forces off the majority of the display.
