Hi folks,

I am having this strange problem with iphone 3g (jailbroken/unlocked but on ATT still )

I was having the usual problems of battery getting drained sooner upon
jailbreaking. So, I uninstalled(like after a month or so)
few packages in cydia like inetutils and ssh and some more.
It was fine on the day.
In the night, i didn't charge(it had 50% charge anyway) and next morning
I see phone is dead, so i check the charge it says 10%.
I then plugged it to wall charger and had it charged for 75 mins.
Now I check its still 10% charged !
Didn't know what to do.
Later I powered the device off, and then restarted.
Now voila battery is showing 80%
So what could be the issue ? Does anyone know ?
I use a cheap battery displayer, it was working fine though.

I also notice phone is dead next morning and when I plug to recharge it starts indicating 80% straight !

Here is the list I have on my device :

apple 2009 theme
bigboss's source
cydia installer
dev-team
fontswap
fuel guage2 (battery indicator)
********** shuffle
iphone firmware
iSpazio
modmyi.com
nike dialer
saurik's source
ste's source
winterboard
yellowsn0w
5-row qwerty keyboard.

Thanks a lot.

Plug your phone in while you sleep. Unless there's some logic to letting it sit and use it's charge overnight......
