Has anyone else experienced this with the new home button on the 7 or 7+?

Around 80% of the time the button press feels normal. Every so often, however, the button has a subtle vibration right behind the click, which feels like a tiny buzz. I'm not sure if something inside is not aligned properly, or if it may be software related.

I can't accurately reproduce it, it just seems to happen randomly.

Has anyone else had this happen, and if so, did you exchange it, or reach any other resolution?

Thanks!

I have not experienced an issue such as this. I'm curious to find out what the cause is, though.

I figure I will bring it in to the Apple Store eventually, I just wanted to see what other's experiences were on here first.

Have you tried to adjust the home button feedback - (settings, general, home button)? I know I had to test all three settings before I finally settled on one that felt realistic to me.

I've felt this before, kinda feels like a shock
That's exactly what it's like. Does it still happen?

Yeah, the feedback feels great, but every now and then it feels like there is a shock or a light buzz in addition to the click.

If it makes you feel any better.... I get the same thing once in awhile. I believe it has to do with the haptic feedback circuitry. It's not annoying to me but to be truthful, I really think this "fake" home button thing is something Apple could have done without.

The same thing happens to me. Once in a great while the click will feel a crunch instead of the normal button press. Using home button setting 3
