I could wait until the Apple store opens and take it in (can’t be bothered with all the hassle though) but will they swap it out for a different device or have to spend a while swapping the keyboard?

OR I could sell it and buy a new MBP or Air.

My question is, in the U.K, will they swap the laptop completely or need time to change the keyboard?

Last week I called Apple regarding my 2018 keyboard failing. Called Wednesday, they had a return kit to me by Thursday, I shipped it off, they received and repaired it Friday and got it back to me by Saturday. Even though it works I still plan on trading/selling for a 2020 model. This keyboard is killing me.

They will replace the keyboard, not the entire computer.
