It hasn't been happening as much lately, but sometimes when I wake my MBP up from sleep my keyboard is unresponsive. It takes about 30 seconds of tapping random keys for it to work again. I want to take it to the apple store because it's still under warranty, but since it only happens every so often how can prove to the apple genius that it's faulty?

Ryan-

Depending on your store, you may not have to do a lot of convincing. My local store has taken our word on a couple of problems with my daughter's MacBook. We were well under warranty, and there was no reason we'd lie (not like they are going to give us a better or faster system). They took a look at our system, wrote it up, and sent it out to get repaired.

If you are on the edge of warranty or have physical damage from abuse, then they may be more circumspect. Your mileage may vary...

Best of luck...
