So this evening I went to write a text message to this chick that I know, and so as usual I pulled my iPhone out of it's holster and went to unlock the phone. No response was given from the touch screen. No big deal, I just reset the phone and it should work. Wrong. I reset the phone twice and left it off for over a minute both times but still the screen is not responsive. The entire bottom half of the screen isn't working. I tried a complete flash restore thinking I might get lucky and have a software issue, but no it is a hardware issue. So obviously I need to take it to Apple, I decided that instead of waiting over a week in the time it would take the send off my iPhone on my own that I would drive to Dallas and see what they could do at the Apple store. So I made an appointment for Wednesday (my next day off work). I went and got my bag from the AT&T store with the boxes and such. To my dismay it appears somewhere along the way I lost the receipt. I am hoping AT&T can print a copy of the receipt from their system; however, on the chance that they cannot, will this be a problem? I have Apple Care and the product is registered with Apple. Also what are they chances they repair in store? Either way it will be cheaper, but I hate being stuck with my old phone because this one is messed up. Anyone else have any problems with the week 38 iPhone screens?
